So if we can recall sometime in 2017, governments of the UK and france made promises to ban all fossil-fuelled vehicles from operating on some of it major city roads.
The new fleet of UPS vehicles operates on an all-electric powered system, which is gonna play an important role in the reduction of carbon emission in the atmosphere
The vehicles were built by Arrival, the first commercial automakers in Europe. And also the first manufacturers of an all-electric vehicle for the purpose of UPS delivery vehicles.
According to UPS international director for automotive engineering, Luke Wale, he said “UPS is working with Arrival here in the U.K. because their smart electric vehicles are helping to reduce dependency on fossil fuel. This is a pioneering collaboration that helps UPS develop new ways to reduce our emissions.”
The new vans also comes with some new tech like the Driver Assistance System and also the wireless connectivity features that fleet managers can keep better track of delivery vehicles.
