Do you know that ISIS also make TikTok videos

Now one of the fastest growing platforms in the world, TikTok, has also been used to promote ISIS propaganda. Just recently we saw the short-video platform remove about two dozen accounts which they claimed were sharing ISIS content.😰

Storyful, a social media monitoring firm found some post which involved the ISIS group. The post featured the Islamic group songs and weapons. Dead bodies were also being displayed on the streets and women saying they are “jihadist and proud.” The videos were said to include some TikTok filters like floating stars. (seriously, floating stara)

All the videos have been taken down by TikTok after Wall Street Jouranal flagged the video.

A TikTok spokesperson responded to the issue saying that “Content promoting terrorist organizations has absolutely no place on TikTok.”

He went on to say that “We permanently ban any such accounts and associated devices as soon as identified, and we continuously develop ever-stronger controls to proactively detect suspicious activity.” (Better do)

This move into TikTok is said to be due to an audio message which was recorded by the Islamic group’s leader Abu Bakr al-Baghadadi, last month. In the message, he urged his supporters to increase their efforts after they lost their Iraqi and Syria territory.
