So in September of 2018, the authorities at the Vineland, New Jersey, got a tip that one Allan Carlson has been hospitalised after being bitten by a venomous cobra.🙊
The New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife was asked to investigate the issue which led them to Carlson’s home. There the authorities were allowed inside by Calson’s mother😢 who told the authorities that she never knew neither did she even believed that her son was keeping poisonous snakes in the house.💔
She said the only thing he told her was that he was bitten by an African forest cobra, and that she had to drive him to the hospital where he passed out in the hospital’s parking lot.😅
After a thorough search of the house, the authorities found 16 snakes in total, 15 which were said to be extremely venomous. Some of the snakes found are: A 10-foot long python😨 a couple of spitting cobras 😱and one green mamba.😯 there were also some containers filled with lots of tarantulas.😷
Carlson was later charged with 16 counts of possessing a non-game species without permit and additional 15 counts of possessing a potentially dangerous species. He pleaded guilty and was charged with a fine of $5,000.
