So i guess it no big news to anyone that Apple’s latest addition to it wearOS collection is it brand new and upgraded watch, the Apple Series 5.
So let talk about the Apple watch
Of course we saw the Apple watch come with some pretty cool new features, but one question some users seem to be asking is it “battery“.
Yes we know that all previous versions of Apple watches boasts of a 24-hour battery life capacity. Although it usually exceeds that, lasting up to 48-hours even with the usage of heavy apps like the GPS exercise tracking.
But why bother yourself about longer battery life when the watch charges at lightening speed.
Well Apple should really put that into consideration as other competitors like Fitbit are laying emphasis battery life. Fitbit’s Versa 2 for example boasts of a 7 days battery life, and that with the usage of features like sleep tracking which was rumored to be on the Apple Series 5, but unfortunately things aren’t always what it seems to be.
So the big question is, are Apple users comfortable with more features or are they willing to move with longer battery life? But also think about going a few days without worrying about charging your watch.
Also i can only imagine how frustrating it is for your Apple watch to go off when you have unclosed rings. While with the Fitbit’s Versa 2 when on 25 percent, i could still run for about 8 hours.
With all this it pretty clear that Apple ain’t focused on longer battery life but improved features, but a longer battery life would be an added advantage.
But with the addition of an always-on display, we’ll just have to wait and see how things plays out.
