At the TechCrunch Disrupt Berlin that was held yesterday, Samsung Electronic’s President Young Sohn revealed some very exciting news.
During the event Sohn said that the smartphone company has sold a whooping 1 million foldable Galaxy Folds.
According to Sohn “I think that the point is, we’re selling a million of these products. There’s a million people that want to use this product at $2,000.”
If we could recall, the Galaxy Fold was launched at the MWC 2019 in the early months where it had a lot of other foldable competitors.
It launched first in April and got a lot of users complaining about bugs and defects on the device, like the very popular cracking screen
Samsung had no other option but to take the device back to the lab and do some more tech magic on it, aftet which it was relaunched in September.
And now here they are today counting their 1 millionth sale of the Galaxy Fold, and reports also has it that they plan on selling 6 million of the smartphone by 2020.
