So researchers have come to say that by next year over a 100 million people will shop using AR.
According to Gartner’s Unified Retail Survey carried out last summer it suggests that 46 percent of retailers plan to integrate AR or VR into their shopping experience.
Gartner said that the intro of the 5G network will also be of assistance or rather would give the AR and VR operation a push. 5G can optimize warehouse resources and store traffic analytics and make it easier to communicate with customers
A research analyst Hanna Karki, at Gartner said that “Retailers can use AR as an extension of the brand experience to engage customers in immersive environments and drive revenue. For example, Ikea’s Place app enables customers to virtually ‘place’ Ikea products in their space,”
