So the royal Prince Harry has come out to condemn the playing of video games laying emphasis on the almighty “fortnite” and even suggesting it be banned.
Speaking at a mental health conference at the YMCA in South Ealing, London on Wednesday, the prince referred to the game as “irresponsible”, Saying that games like fortnite were not so good for kids, in his words he said
“Parents have got their hands up, they don’t know what to do about it. It’s like waiting for the damage to be done and kids turning up on your doorsteps and families being broken.”
He described fortnite as an addict’s game saying that the game was only meant to keep you glued to your computer for as long as possible.
He was trying to make a point that social media has come to become even more addictive than drugs.😯😲 He said that “Growing up in today’s world, social media is more addictive than drugs and alcohol. Yet it’s more dangerous because it’s normalized and there are no restrictions to it. We are in a mind-altering time.”
Even at that the prince have been noticed to be sort of involved in social media too, recall that the couple’s instagram account is a record holding account after it broke the record for the fastest account to reach 1 million followers in just less than six hours.🙅
Remember in March, the British royal family banned “abusive, hateful, inflammatory” comments on its social media accounts after a deluge of angry, racist posts about Meghan Markle.
