Telsa CEO Elon Musk has just announced that pre-orders for the Cybertruck is looking very promising, which is sort of a wierd scenario considering the fact that the windows shattered during the launch.
According to Musk, pre-orders for the Cybertruck has reached well over 250,000. I mean this is for a car that not gonna be out until end of 2020.
To pre-order the Cybertruck which costs $39,900, you are required to deposit the sum of $100 which combined have bagged Tesla a whooping $25 million in cash money already.
But that $25 million is just speculations, it probably more than that considering the fact that most of the pre-orders were said to be the more expensive dual and tri-motor models, which comes at a price tag of $49,900 and $69,900 respectively. (So do the math
With an incredible 250,000 pre-orders in just five days after it launch, the Cybertruck is just a few steps behind the Model 3 which got an insane 325,000 pre-orders in just it first week.
As we all know, the Cybertruck is not gonna be available to the public until late 2021 and 2022 for the more expensive tri-motor model.
