So Lundroid, the company behind the robot that does your laundry all the time, is finally going bankrupt after racking up depts of a whooping $200 million.
The company didn’t make the huge break it was expecting after customers complained of the robot folding too slow an that the price tag of $16,000 was too high for a robot that slow.
In a statement by the company, they said “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to our shareholders, customers, business partners and related parties.”
The company said they actually had a lot in store for their customers and thought the product would someday become a very part of the modern wardrobe.
Their competitor, Foldmate, on the other hand already have a working prototype and they learnt from their competition, so they reduced their price to as little as $1,000 plus the fact that their’s folds faster.
