As we all know, Facebook’s CEO mark zuckerberg gets an annual salary of $1 without any annual bonuses. He gets his millions from, “as they like to call it, othe compensation.
In a report by the company, it said that the billionaire earned an estimated $9 million in other compensation in 2017 and topped that by earning $22 million in that same other compensation in 2018.
What surprising is the fact that 80 Percent that compensation was for the billionaire’s security while the other 2 percent went to his personal travel on private jet.✈💸
Here’s a little break down on how it goes. In 2018 he was awarded a whooping $9,956,846 in pre-tax income for security and residential protection. Like that wasn’t enough, the company gave him another pre-allowances $10 million to “cover additional costs.” 💲💰 (you can’t blame him for being a billionaire)😉😊💳💱
The report which was published by the company concerning his security reads “Because of the high visibility of our company, our compensation & governance committee has authorized an ‘overall security program’ for Mr. Zuckerberg to address safety concerns due to specific threats to his safety arising directly as a result of his position as our founder, CEO, Chairman, and controlling stockholder.”
I know that this figures might seem like they are over-the-top high but when you’re one of the richest people on earth it would seem like nothing to you.
And BTW, you’re the CEO of the almighty Facebook, dude, you’re gonna be needing some serious security by your side.
