So Google has done it again, but this time it to Gmail. Google just added an amazing “dark mode” to it Gmail service a week after it Android 10 launch on pixels phones.
So all ye with them sensitive eyes can now mope at your screen in dark mode to reduce eye strain. The feature allows you turn your white screen black, and black texts to white.
But the dark mode feature is only available to Android 10 on pixels users, and to get the feature all you have to do is simply download the latest version of Gmail and you’re set and ready to go.
Once you have that installed, go to the settings and select the “theme” option, then you can choose between light or dark. But there have been cases of some users saying they have downloaded the latest version of Gmail but are still not seeing that option.
Well relax, that means you’ll just have to wait for the server-side change to hit your device. For now Android 10 is available only to Google pixel users but should be available to everyone before the year runs out.
