Ford Mustang Lithium Is An Electrical Car Wonder

Ford Mustang Lithium is a beast to behold

Just when we thought we’ve seen it all, Ford surprises us again but this time it with their all new Electric Ford Mustang, yes that right, electric and a mustang. (Never knew those two words could ever be used in the same sentence)😀

The electric mustang was displayed at the 2019 SEMA show which was held in Las Vegas on Tuesday. The Ford Mustang lithium is an all electric car that is super fast with well over 900 horsepower under it hood.

Ford partnered with Webasto to work on this electric marvel. Webasto provided the 800-volt battery system which powers the entire car.

The battery is capable of outputting a full megawatt of electrical energy which is enough force than any average electric car available today can do.

Although we did see some engineering wonders in the mustang lithium but they also did not completely scrap that oldie feel.

The electric mustang still has a six-speed manual transmission supplying power to the rear wheel. The internals also got some sort of enhancement to support the massive 1,000 pound-feet of torque it produces.

The brakes are those of the Shelby GT350 which provides this insane stopping force. Another sleek feature of the electric mustang is the fact that you could see through the hood. (Ya, it completely transparent)

Since the electric mustang does not gulp down gas, it comes with a TurboDX portable charging cable and splitters which were designed by Sankuer Composite Technologies.

The interior still remains basic, a 10.4-inch touchscreen mounted at the center and also it has four driving modes: Valet, Sport, Track, and Beast. (Mehn, love that last one)

Recently we have seen lots of crazy electric cars design ranging from the big dogs Tesla, to Chevy’s eCOPO Camero concept to which debuted at last year’s SEMA.

Ford didn’t want to be left out in the electrified fun and they sure did make their stamp with their mustang lithium.
