Mark Zuckerberg Trail Blazing

Even though Zuckerberg has been experiencing some ups and downs with his worth since 2018 when Facebook had some legislative issues, he still manages to somehow add more billions to his net worth 💵 (Just a sidenote; Elon Musk has beaten mark Zuckerberg and Gates to become the second richest dude on earth)

If there’s one thing we know from this money man (Mark Zuckerberg), it that he really has an affinity for real estate. (like just recently we learnt that he spent $60 million on not one but two properties on Lake Tahoe 💳)

Also it is worth noting that despite the huge sum of money which he occasionally pours into the Chan Zuckerberg initiative, Mark Zuckerberg still manages to maintain his spot on the wealth table (well until Elon Musk did a slam dunk 🏀 on both him and Gates)

No matter how he spends his money, it seems that Zuckerberg will always have billi ons left over. Here are five facts that show just how rich Zuckerberg really is;

1. Mark Zuckerberg is so rich that he can afford to live off an annual salary of just $1 (weird how that’s possible ha?)

Previously, Mark Zuckerberg reported that he made as much as $770,000 from just his Facebook salary and bonuses. But if you recall back in 2013, he slashed that price to what it is today, meaning a large bite of his wealth is tied to Facebook stocks. (Zuckerberg also owns 17% of Facebook)

If you punch the numbers you’ll come to realize that a drop in Facebook’s share equals a drop in Zuckerberg’s Fortune.

2. Mark Zuckerberg made an estimated $1.7 million an hour in 2018

News publishers, Business Insider, did the math to find out how much he makes in an hour.

Firstly they calculated the difference in Zuckerberg’s 2017 and 2018 earnings. The results showed that the Facebook founder has an annual earnings of about $15 billion. (mind blowing ha😲)

They then went on to divide that annual earning by the number of hours we have in a year (8,760), which brought it to $1.7 million.

3. Mark Zuckerberg used less than an hour and a half to make what the average American bachelor’s degree holder will make in his/her lifetime – $2.2 million (Now I just feel like Zuckerberg is mocking us all😄🤦🏾‍♂️)

So now let talk some stats; according to the SSA, the average American bachelor’s degree holder is going to earn $1.3 million throughout her lifetime.

Now not to taunt all them degree holders, but to put this in perspective, a college dropout makes more than what college certified and bachelor’s degree holder makes in his/her lifetime.

And like that isn’t enough, the dropout makes it in just an hour and a half (well to be honest, that kinda embarrassing to all certificate Holders😅)

4. In just less than two minutes Mark Zuckerberg makes what a full-time median American worker makes in a year – $48,328 (Dude in just two minutes 🤦🏾‍♂️)

According to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, last year Zuckerberg earned $28,538 in one minute. (that 28k in just 60seconds, You have got to be kidding me 💰)

5. Mark Zuckerberg’s has a net worth that greater than the GDP of Jamaica, Jordan, and Nicaragua all combined (surprised?)

If you make your research well, you’ll find out that Jordan’s GDP is around $46.4 billion, Jamaica’s around $16.8 billion, and that of Nicaragua is around $12.5 billion.

Now if you punch your calculator, you’ll realize these three countries has a combined GDP of $75.7 billion which is $7 billion below Zuckerberg’s net Worth.

6. Mark Zuckerberg could give every single person in the United States $100 and still have around $48 billion left over.

According to the US Census, the United States population is around 331,871,138. Now giving every single one of these living individual $100 would result to a total of $33.9 billion.

Well with these few facts presented right here, it enough to say that Mark Zuckerberg being a dropout is way better than most people who went through school. 😁
