So on Sunday, Felix Kjellberg popularly known by his YouTube name “PewDiePie” have come out to clear the air about the mentioning of his name during the new Zealand mosque shootingthat led to the death of over 50 people.
According to Felix, the shooter at the end said “Subscribe to PewDiePie”, and he said this based on the battle between PewDiePie and T-series(a Bollywood studio in india) as they were both competing for the most subscribers on YouTube.
Now the “subscribe to PewDiePie” meme has been trending ever since and even Felix himself made a joke out of it.
But on Sunday he came out to ask for an end to the meme as it was starting to get out of hand and sounding awkward. In a video he released addressing the issue, he said “To have my name associated with something so unspeakably vile has affected me in more ways than I’ve let shown.”
Felix always know how to have fun in every situation, after addressing the issue of the “subscribe to PewDiePie” meme he went on to release two diss tracks dissing his competitor T-Series.😎
