Ya sadly the iPhone makers recorded a 35.3 million shipments in Q2 which signifies a 15% decrease compared to the same quarter last year where they recorded 41.3 million shipments.
This places them to just 11% of the world’s smartphone market.
The Chinese smartphone makers actually moved up to third place with 36.2 million shipments in Q2 2019 and claiming 11% of the global smartphone market.
Yes the Chinese smartphone giants even after all the attempts by the U.S government to take down the company, they’re still having themselves quite a good year. They managed to retain their position with 58.7 million smartphone shipments in Q2 2019.
It also went on to claim 18% of the world’s smartphone market.
The list is never complete without the mention of the south korean Top Dog, yes that right. Samsung has since been dominating the smartphone world claiming as much as 23% of the global smartphone market.
The smartphone giants shipped 75.1 million units in Q2 of 2019. Samsung’s all hyped and long awaited Galaxy Fold is said to be launched in September.
